Senior Concierge Services in St. Petersburg, FL

Anchor Concierge is a senior concierge based in St. Petersburg, helping older adults in every part of the city with errands, groceries, check-in visits and medical appointments. Gina, a Florida LPN since 2013, handles each visit herself.

A senior concierge for every part of St. Pete

A senior concierge is one dependable person who takes care of the practical side of life so an older adult can keep living at home. In St. Petersburg, that person is Gina. She is based here, she knows the stores, pharmacies and medical offices across town, and she plans each visit around where your parent actually lives. The complete menu is on the senior concierge services page. This page looks at how that help plays out in the city’s different neighborhoods.

Neighborhood by neighborhood

Old Northeast. The North Shore Historic District, as it is formally called, stretches from the edge of downtown up to 30th Avenue North along Tampa Bay. For a homeowner who has been in the same house for a long time and wants to stay, a weekly check-in visit brings company, and the family gets a reliable update. Sunken Gardens, the city-run garden on 4th Street North, is right in the neighborhood.

Snell Isle. C. Perry Snell opened this island neighborhood in 1925 on land that was mostly mangrove marsh, and it centers on Snell Isle Boulevard near Coffee Pot Bayou. Homes are spread out and every store is a drive away, so grocery shopping help and pharmacy runs are the usual starting point.

Shore Acres. This waterfront neighborhood off Tampa Bay sits along canals, and storm season is never far from anyone’s mind. After severe weather, Gina can stop by, look over the house and tell the family what she saw. The Shore Acres Recreation Center reopened in 2022 in a new two-story building for anyone who wants a class or a change of scene.

Kenwood. Just west of downtown, the Kenwood Historic District is mostly bungalows built between 1912 and 1945. Older houses tend to need repairs, and Gina can wait at the house for the repair technician so your parent is not managing the visit alone.

Downtown. Seniors in downtown condos live close to the Sunshine Center, the Mirror Lake Community Library, Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital and St. Anthony’s Hospital. Close is not the same as easy, though. Gina can sit in on medical appointments, write down what the doctor says and pass the notes to family.

Tyrone. West St. Pete around Tyrone Square Mall, open since 1972, is where a lot of shopping, returns and pickups happen. Gina groups errands into one trip so a two-hour visit covers several stops.

Pasadena. Pasadena Avenue (State Road 693) and HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital anchor this side of the city. When a parent comes home from a hospital stay, a few weeks of help after surgery can cover groceries, prescription pickups and regular look-ins.

Isla del Sol. This community sits off the Pinellas Bayway in southwest St. Pete, next to Bayway Isles and near Fort De Soto Park and St. Pete Beach. Owners who spend part of the year up north can book snowbird home checks while the place sits empty.

Getting around the city

I-275 runs through St. Pete, Central Avenue crosses it east to west, and US 19 heads south toward the Sunshine Skyway. Seniors who still ride transit can take PSTA’s SunRunner from downtown to St. Pete Beach, or the Central Avenue Trolley between The Pier and Grand Central Station. Riders who cannot use regular buses can look into PSTA Access, the county’s paratransit service. Gina does not replace any of these. She covers what a bus cannot: heavy bags, a second set of ears at the doctor, someone to stand in line.

What Gina does not do

Every visit is non-medical and non-hands-on. Bathing, dressing, toileting and giving medications are not part of what Gina does. When a family needs that kind of care, she says so plainly and can point them to local senior resources, including the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, which has its office on Koger Boulevard North.

A local contact for families far away

If you are reading this from another state, Gina can be your person in St. Pete. She visits, runs the errands, goes to appointments and sends an update after each visit. Here is how long-distance support works.

Start with a conversation

Visits start at $120 for a two-hour minimum, and a monthly membership lowers the hourly rate. Book a free 20-minute consultation by phone or in person, and Gina will suggest a plan that suits your neighborhood and your schedule. Compare plans on the pricing page.

All of them. Gina serves the whole city, from Old Northeast, Snell Isle and Shore Acres to Kenwood, downtown, Tyrone, Pasadena and Isla del Sol, along with the rest of Pinellas County.
Can Gina go with my parent to Bayfront or St. Anthony's?
Yes. Gina can accompany your parent to appointments at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, St. Anthony's Hospital or any St. Pete doctor's office, take notes and update the family. She goes as a companion, not as a nurse, and she does not give medications.
How much does a senior concierge cost in St. Petersburg?
Occasional help is $120 for a two-hour minimum and $60 for each additional hour. Monthly memberships cost $460 for 8 hours, $660 for 12 or $1,050 for 20. See full pricing.
Can one St. Pete visit cover several errands?
Usually, yes. Gina plans the route so groceries, a prescription pickup and a return can all happen in a single two-hour visit when the stops are near each other.
